Job Description Sustaining Development Manager
The position includes developing and qualifying electronic designs for desktop
computer systems.

Job Description Failure Analysis Engineer
Qualifications:
BSEE with 6-8 years experience or MSEE with 3-5 years experience including
'hands-on' knowledge of design, failure analysis, or sustaining engineering.
This position is located in China and reports to Failure Analysis Engineering
in US.  The successful candidate must have the ability to escalate hot issues
to US, to translate goals into actions and execute directions remotely, and to
drive appropriate organizations in the region for containment and corrective
actions. Some traveling may be required within China and to US, Taiwan and
Malaysia.

Responsibilities:
Work closely, via daily communication, with FA Leads in US. Be the frontline
person for field escalation issues in the region (APAC) across all desktop and
portable platforms. Perform trend analysis and drill down on issues to isolate
them to the manufacturing process, component, or design.  Drive 3rd level root
cause analysis on identified trends. Provide analysis results to FA Leads and
follow up with status. Drive results back to appropriate organizations for
containment, corrective actions and preventive actions.  Review potential cost
savings - product cost and warranty cost, and recommend opportunities for
further actions. Update Team Track database to capture significant issues and
lessons learned. Review existing Team Track cases to ensure regional issues
are addressed and closed. Review OEM FA and repair data and identify
opportunities to improve product/component reliability.

Work with OEM/EM suppliers to drive improvement in their FA processes and
capabilities.  Drive them to identify failure trends for products they produce
and to implement appropriate corrective actions to improve OEM product field
performance. 

Required skills:
Must be strong in analog and digital designs and theories, PC architecture,
memory, I/O bus architectures, product test methods, peripherals, and
interactions at system level. Must be proficient in reading and using
schematics, Allegro, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Emulation Tools and
in analyzing and debugging boards. 
Must have basic understanding of electrical and board layout practices and
tools, hardware and software interactions ? being able to apply this
understanding to resolve issues. Must posses good troubleshooting approach,
good understanding of high speed digital design, transmission line, and
electromagnetic field theory. Basic understanding of board assembly and
process is necessary.  Supplier engagement / management experience and project
management skills necessary. 
Must have strong English and Mandarin communication skills (oral and written)
to provide detailed analysis, status, and results to various teams, such as
OEM, Quality/Ops, Supplier Quality, Development, and Sustaining Engineering.

Job Description Senior Product Validation Engineer

Define software testing methodologies, design and implement
test plans, test systems and test tools. Validate various products from
Intel's Software Products Division (SPD), such as compilers for
